Associate Consultant Opportunity

NGT BioPharma Consultants is searching for an Associate Consultant (AC) to join our growing organization.   The primary role of the AC will be to support the firm’s executives, department heads, consultants, and biopharmaceutical industry clients. He/she, working in a team environment, will support our efforts to streamline business processes, drive greater operational efficiency and productivity while contributing to the provision of project deliverables. 

This is a full-time, remote position (except when business travel is required.)

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to meaningfully contribute to brainstorming and framework development sessions addressing client strategic needs.
• Perform quantitative analysis and data manipulation to develop effective data presentations to clients, project leaders, and senior executives.
• Quickly come up to speed with and leverage a variety of software platforms to advance ever-evolving business objectives.
• Develop a personalized consulting methodology and biopharmaceutical industry knowledge base through a combination of formal training, informal learning opportunities, and project-related experience.
• Engage on multiple client projects, effectively manage time commitments, and assume greater leadership and project management responsibilities over time.
• Create compelling communication visuals such as activity/flow diagrams, charts, tables, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Support senior team members in business development efforts including funding research, developing proposal pitch decks, and managing time-sensitive requests for proposals.
• Support project teams during the analysis and planning stages of projects, including due-diligence efforts, client technology audits, gap analyses, and information summaries.
• Conduct qualitative research and interviews with KOLs and industry knowledge experts to obtain insights and data relevant to client engagements.

Qualifications and Expertise:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Confidence-inspiring interpersonal and consultative skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Advanced proficiency creating visual data presentations.
• Extensive MS Office expertise, including an advanced aptitude working with MS Excel and related data storage and analysis tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving proficiency.
• Detail-oriented and able to perform with consistent accuracy and precision.
• Time management and organizational skills with a demonstrated capability to multi-task.
• Ability to carry out independent research (including market, competitor, and biopharmaceutical industry-relevant assessments)
• An aptitude for working comfortably with social media platforms, analytical software programs, and digital AI technologies is desirable.
• Working knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry and, specifically, the industry’s drug development process is desirable.
