With a rich and diverse history of success as a scientist and innovative executive leader in the biopharmacutical industry, Dr. Johnson has created transformative changes in manufacturing practices and technologies, factory digitalization strategies and accelerated product launch paradigms for global pharmaceutical companies. As VP of Global Technology Services, Technology & Business Solutions at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, he provided operational leadership for an IT-led digital transformation, including intelligence based manufacturing, data analytics, advanced process controls, continuous processing, performance metrics, natural language processing, predictive analytics and research and development for manufacturing biotherapeutics. Dr. Johnson was also responsible for automated quality verification, materials characterization, knowledge management, global launch operations and process knowledge management strategies, manufacturing process analytics, risk assessment and management, external technology collaborations and partnerships with industry, academia, government agencies, including the FDA, ETT, PhRMA, PMDA and efpia. His experience includes accelerating a small molecule new product launch, developing risk assessments and control strategies for a large molecule product portfolio, as well as developing business solutions for global technical services.
