Mark Zettler, PhD — Executive VP Operations

A renowned chemist, innovator and strategist, Dr. Zettler’s extensive expertise includes chemical synthesis, process research and development, and formulation technologies across a breadth of technology-centric industries, including pharmaceutical, agricultural sciences, animal health and fine chemical. His acumen for business development and understanding of agency nuances and regulatory approval processes helped guide industry leaders toward successful development and commercialization of a host of new technologies. 

Dr. Zettler’s experience includes global leadership positions in New Business Development for Dow Chemical, Dow AgroSciences and AgroFresh Solutions, where he oversaw discovery, development, regulatory approvals and launch of new active ingredients and formulated products across the global pre-harvest and post-harvest food and agriculture sectors. He was instrumental in establishing a standalone, publicly traded company that currently operates in more than 40 countries and achieves annual revenue of $160M. Dr. Zettler’s background includes developing the strategic direction, organizational leadership, infrastructure, capability, programs and innovation initiatives required to create, develop and manufacture new API’s, active ingredients, new formulated products and novel delivery systems worldwide.
